The IT Industry is one of the most rapidly growing Industries which encompass Computer Hardware, Software and Telecommunications. This is one of the new fields of study, making a major contribution in the promotion of the National infrastructure and major Strategic Technologies as well.

The aim of this course is to produce researchers who will contribute to the Research and Development field, Engineers who lead Manufacturing Industries and Managers who supervise the maintenance and Administration of the Network System. The curriculum of IT program offered by the IIMT University focuses on problem solving, design, development and application of various emerging technologies. Research programs of the department aim to establish a strong component of practical engagement with private enterprises.
